The first Evolution recording that I know is "Empire of Time" did you have any other recordings besides that and the new album "Dark dreams of light”?

No, we have no other recordings besides them. In near future we want to produce our next CD, so we hope that it will be available around the first quarter of the next year.

What do you want to express with your music?

The songs on the new album have an abstract, thought provoking view of society, but also positive messages in the writing as well. We try to make the listeners think about their life and the things happening around them.

I can see that in your music there are a lot of Metallica influences, what it’s your opinion about this band?

One can not dispute the parallels to the probably most known metal band all over the world, but we are also influenced by other bands like Pantera, Annihilator, Slayer, Megadeth, Dream Theater, and some older and newer stuff.... and try to mix it up to the music we want to hear and play.

How do you see the new album of Metallica "St.Anger"?

We do not like it that much, but this is a meaning of taste and there are also enough people who like it.

The new album contains almost all the songs from the demo "Empire of time”, when will be released a new Evolution CD?

In the first quarter of 2004!

In my opinion the song "Empire of time” is one of the best that you have composed `till now which is in your opinion the best Evolution song?

We can not say which the best is, because they are all like children for us, and they all express the feelings we had that time we wrote that song.

Also I think that your music sounds very well live, do you have often the possibility to play live?

During the last months we had some good gigs, but it's not easy to bring heavy metal on stage in times like these. The next time we are on stage will be at 25.07.2003 with Testament and Annihilator.

Do you think that fans of Metallica like your music?

We hope so!!!
But we think it is not so important what kind of music the people listen to. It is all a meaning of feeling taste, and if someone listens to a totally different style of music and likes us at the same time, where is the difference?

Which is the main inspirational thing for you?

LIFE!!!

Could you tell me the process of Creation for an Evolution song?

The writing is always teamwork. We write all our songs together and change them until everyone is satisfied.

Which do you think that comes first, the music or the lyrics?

Both are equal. One can not speak about frustration or something if there is a happy melody in the back. But music and lyrics are both secondary. First of all there must be the feeling....

Besides Metallica what other bands do you like?

Look up to No.3

How did the media react to your music?

We sent the CD to a lot of magazines and pages i.e. Metal Heart, Hammer, Rock Hard ... and so far as the reviews have been published the response was very good. It was a big surprise for us to be in a magazine with well known bands and to get such a good value.

How are the sales of the CD working have you sold many CD’s?

We really can be satisfied with the album sales.
